We have created a warm and intimate setting. Taken the performers off the stage, and placed them in a central area near floor level. Painted a 15' music Mural, set up small dressed tables, added couches, armchairs and regular lamps to illuminate the artists. The bar will be open, and we will have uniformed servers bring patrons drinks and snacks during the concert. A quiet atmosphere will be encouraged throughout the musical performance. The Series is sponsored in part by The Duncreigan Inn in Mabou and The MacLeod Inn in Broad Cove.

WOMEN'S SONG CIRCLE: SIERRA NOBLE, LISA CAMERON & CARMEL MIKOL
Celtic Colours & ICCA Event

Discuss and demonstrate how a song is born

SIERRA NOBLE
Best known as a fiddle virtuoso who breezes through Celtic, Bluegrass, Pop, Jazz, World beat and other styles of music with stunning ease, Sierra's breadth of experience is impressive. Since the age of 7, Sierra has been a student of classical music as well as the traditional music of the Métis. Her talent has taken her around the world where she has visited countries in Asia, Europe and North America. She amazes audiences with compelling contemporary performances, which feature exceptional instrumentals, energetic step-dancing and her infectious down to earth charm.

CARMEL MIKOL
"You always go to the ECMAs hoping to see and hear some new surprises and this year was no exception. ..... I was aware of Carmel Mikol before I arrived in Corner Brook but by name only. I was very impressed with her skills as a writer and singer and she has a laid-back style that makes her an engaging performer. I understand that she has recently started taking Halifax by storm. That’s one storm that I want to see a bit closer to home."
“The Cape Breton Post” Dan MacDonald

LISA CAMERON
A gifted singer and writer, Lisa has a distinctive voice and sound that remains with you. Her voice sails over, under, and straight through melodies reminiscent of Nanci Griffith, James Taylor, and Emmylou Harris.

Showtime:  1:00 pm
Ticket price: $10 at the door, advance tickets available.
